  • second day of "fun": left for San Diego at 10 am. drove for 2 hours on the freeway. got there at 12, had lunch, then went aboard the retired USS Midway. stayed there for bout 4 hours. then drove back home for 2 more hours in the dark.

    it was pretty fun. I went through the mess hall, hanger deck, and the flight deck. Then went into the island superstructure and went up to the bridge and sat in the captain's chair . looked at the chart rooms, flight control, etc. went into this Desert Storm flight simulator (kinda borin, not enough dogfights) and thats bout it i think.

    Too bad that was the only carrier opened to the public. wish i could've went aboard the USS Ronald Reagan that was docked a couple hundred yards away cuz Midway is kinda an old piece of junk now since it was commissioned on September of 1945. Served in the aftermath of WWII. First to test launch a missile from a movin platform. Served in the Veitnam War and the first Persian Gulf War. Decommissioned on April of 1992.

  • hmm, today was actually fun. went to friend's house in yorba linda. got there at like 10 am. played Need For Speed Underground 2 till lunch.

    then we jacked his dad's BMW and went Carl's jr. its a pretty nice piece of vehicle. it has a great acceleration. I drove it since i had a license and daniel didn't. my 6 months weren't over but oh well.

    then while we were goin back on this 40 mph speed limit street, he told me that the fastest he'd gone on it was 55 . he shudn't have said that cuz then i started goin 70. damn that was the fastest i've ever gone on street. good thing there were no cars around. im jus glad i didn't wreck it or i'd be responsible, lol. so we got back and started on NFSU2 again. then watched Rules of Engagement till 6pm.

  • EMERGENCY: An FBI SWAT team heads west on 6th Street toward the Mexican Consulate. Police evacuated a four-block area around the governmet office.

    (yea thats wut the caption says if u cant read it)

    damn, such a waste. i shud've done my job shadowing yesterday (Nov. 10). i was gonna do it at a FBI field office in downtown LA if they wud let me sum time this year, but damn, yesterday wud've been the best day to do it. but yea, all that happened was a guy took this pregnant woman hostage at the consulate. sum cop shot him in the head and they closed off 4 city blocks to see if there were any more suspects. but damn that pic is nice ^^. 3 gov vehicles w/ like 8 FBI SWAT memebers hanging off of each SUV. job shadowin on a day like that cant be any bettter.

  • wow, what can i say. just played halo online. it was the best round i've played so far so i think it deserve a post here.

    damn, tanks are powerful but extremely vunerable. played 8 vs. 8. it started and like 5 secs into the game they attacked wit like 3 tanks. kept bombarding us and our base for like 3 min. and whenever we respawned, they killed us. then i was lucky enough to respwan on top of the base. rushed to get the sniper rifle and shot 2 of them before the third got me. but it was enough to turn the tide of the battle for the rest of the game. i thought they were pros, but soon i found that i was mistaken. i think they were noobs, but they were pretty good. then i took a tank and shot 3 other enemy tanks. and they missed me!! i think they seriously sucked. then went on a rampage around their base. yup, 20 min after i started, second place was like 30 kills behind me.

    don't know how else to describe it except "pure pwnage."
